Born into a humble joint family where love was abundant but resources were limited, our founder witnessed the resilience of her two mothers — sisters by blood, soulmates by struggle — Sita and Laxmi. Despite the challenges, they stood tall as the true pillars of the family.
One defining memory remains close to the heart. When our founder’s elder brother fell seriously ill after consuming a discarded tablet in the fields where their mothers worked, there was no money, no support, and no way to seek help. But the two sisters remembered the ₹120 gifted by their parents, carefully saved in an old trunk. With those very notes, they rushed the child to the hospital and saved his life.
That moment became a turning point. The sisters vowed never to depend on anyone again.
One learned tailoring, while the other took care of their seven children. Then they switched roles — one sewing through the night, the other nurturing the family through the day. Together, they stitched a life of dignity, education, and hope for their children.
From those humble threads grew The SiLa Fashion — a heartfelt tribute to Sita and Laxmi, whose names together form “SiLa.” Every outfit we design carries their blessings, strength, and love — a blend of heritage and modern expression.
